Sophie Saunders is an artist who creates a visual interplay of colour reflecting the interaction between

experience, action and emotion to create abstract paintings.

Drawing inspiration from the environment around us, she crafts captivating canvases that evoke a spectrum of emotions.  All collections use sections of colour layered, blended, eroded and erased to create a complexity of the paint on the canvas and reflect how boundaries and form blur and morph with interaction of action and reaction both physical and emotional. With bold and vibrant colours, the paintings exude invigorating energy, warmth and passion.  In contrast, soft and soothing blends create a serene and calming canvas.
